What is it?
As part of a national campaign across all 12 fulfilling lives projects, the Blackpool Service is hosting a lively and engaging approach (as you would expect). There are a series of animations taking place across Blackpool Town Centre on 3rd July. The animations will involve a large seagull and dinosaur engaged in various visually impactful activities, with a team of people giving out tip cards with the #seethefullpicture hashtag on them. There is a serious message here although we want to create curiosity from the public about what it all means – reducing the stigma that people who have multiple disadvantage feel, meaning they are more likely to accept help.
It’s a simple concept about human kindness regardless of how people look, present or behave.
Seagull because it is Blackpool and Dinosaur because we want to make stigma a thing of the past.
We have a large scale boost campaign on Radio Wave, we have the Breakfast Show live from Bickerstaffe House Blackpool with the breakfast show team promoting the #SeeTheFullPicture campaign.
We have 2,000 business cards to give out to people throughout the sessions with the website and #seethefullpicture
